A Story that Began with a Dream and Desire.
What started out as a dream of helping the elderly enjoy life to the fullest in a home like setting became reality for Dan and Monica Brooks when they opened their first Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in the Natomas area of Sacramento County. During these years while providing exceptional care and services for their residents; the desire to offer more in the way of a unique living opportunity in a country setting took hold of their hearts. They began looking for a suitable home and property throughout Sacramento, Folsom, Fair Oaks and Orangevale which led them to 9048 Elm Ave in Orangevale, CA. where when they laid eyes on it, fell in love with the connection to nature and the possibilities to offer outdoor activities and programs.
The Story Continues
On October 3, 2018 Belhaven Estate welcomed visitors in for an Open House Celebration. Obie the community horse greeted guests as they entered the property, while laying hens provided a glimpse into what residents will enjoy living on the Estate. The home has personal touches and charactor crafted into each room and space that encourages, inspires, and provides opportunities to enjoy life to the fullest.
